From 11-15 March, LeadLUU Campaigning Week is taking over campus!
But it’s not just about choosing new student leaders- it’s all about you.
This is the week that you’ll decide who you want to represent you as the next era of Student Leaders at Leeds University Union.

Campaigning Week is when candidates running in the LeadLUU elections begin promoting themselves, their ambitions, and their ideas for change to students.
You’ll see them around the LUU building, speaking to students (that’s you!), sharing their ideas, and explaining what they want to change, improve, or protect within your Union.
This is your chance to hear directly from the people who want to lead.
Campaigning Week is the perfect opportunity to:
– Meet candidates face-to-face
– Ask them questions about their ideas and priorities
– Share your unique student experience with them.
By the end of the week, you’ll decide who deserves your vote.
Which Student Leader will represent your voice within LUU, to the University, and across the wider Leeds community?
Your vote shapes what happens next, and every vote counts.
Campaigning Week is more than just posters and slogans. LeadLUU is about real representation- and this is not just another performative student election.
Whether you care about wellbeing, student spaces, clubs and societies, campus community, or academic representation– this is the moment to find out which candidates ideas align with what matters most to you.
You don’t need to wait to be approached, if you see a candidate around the LUU building, go and have a chat!
They’re there to speak to you and hear what you think.
This is your chance to decide who leads the next era of student leadership.
Get to know your candidates, as every vote counts.
Voting opens 16-18 March.
