What happens at Leeds Ball?
Leeds Ball has it all!
From live performances and fairground rides to outdoor bars and street food stalls, there’s something for everyone across the night.
And of course, we can’t forget the biggest and best Fruity club night of the year.
Are tickets still available?
Tickets for Leeds Ball are unfortunately sold out, however you can buy verified resale tickets if they become available.
Resale tickets are ONLY available through our secure booking platform, Universe.
Where is it?
Right now your campus is being transformed into one huge festival-style venue!
Leeds Ball is taking over the LUU building and the Precinct.
What do I get with my ticket?

You only pay for food and drinks!
What should I wear?
The dress code for Leeds Ball is Dress To Impress!
Put on your favourite party outfit and get ready to dance the night away.
Still deciding what to wear?
Visit the Swap Shop to find a second-hand, new-to-you outfit for the biggest summer party of the year.
Don’t forget to bring along an item of clothing, shoes or accessories to swap them out for your fresh Leeds Ball fit.

Can I bring in my own drinks?
No.
Only drinks purchased on the premises can be consumed.
This is in line with licensing and safety regulations, as all drinks served by our staff are measured and monitored according to venue licensing laws.
Who will be performing?
There will be live performances in both the Riley Smith Theatre and on our outdoor stage throughout the night.
Expect tribute artists, drag shows and appearances from some of LUU’s amazing performance societies.
What safety precautions are in place at Leeds Ball?
Your safety is our top priority throughout the night.
We have an experienced security team on site whose job is to keep everyone safe and make sure that the event runs smoothly.
There will also be a dedicated quiet space available if you feel overwhelmed or need a break from the crowds, as well as trained first aiders on hand to deal with any injuries or medical concerns.
Can I come in and out?
No.
Once you’ve entered Leeds Ball, there’s no re-entry if you leave the venue.
This policy is in place to keep numbers controlled throughout the night and make sure that everyone stays safe.
Please make sure you’ve got everything you need before arriving.
Our security staff are simply following event safety procedures, so please be respectful if they enforce the no re-entry rule.
Can I use the Night Bus?
The Night Bus will not be running as a standard service at Leeds Ball.
It will only be available in exceptional circumstances or emergencies and any use must be authorised by the security team on the night.
