Venues, Food, and Drink
Terrace
Terrace is LUU’s premium cocktail bar. Serving up delicious cocktails all day every day, Terrace is a bustling hub of students having fun with friends.
Old Bar
Old Bar is our classic English pub here at LUU. They deliver wholesome, classic meals, unique cask ales, and brilliant prices that cannot be beaten.
Common Ground
Common Ground is the incredible cafe on level –1 of your union. Filled with studying and chatting students, this is the perfect place for a catch-up with a friend, or a long day of uni work.
Venues
Stylus, Pyramid Canteen and Function are the three hireable night-time spaces we boast at LUU. Not only do they host Fruity every Friday, but they also have tons of big-name gigs, fundraisers and parties every week!

We are so lucky to have Philapita, Waki Maki, Pearls Bubble Tea, Cooplands and Tikka Nation here at LUU! They serve fresh, delicious food from all over the world every weekday, with great flavour and great prices to match!

Crossroads is our very own gaming hub. With countless board games, consoles, and video games, Crossroads is the perfect place to hang out and relax between studying!
PGR Lounge
Are you a post-graduate researcher? If so, the PGR Lounge is for you! The PGR Lounge is a chill space built for you to study, relax and connect with others, without any typical university distractions.
Level Two Rooms
There are 6 bookable spaces on level two of your union, which are open to students for meetings, society events and music after 5pm. These spaces are completely versatile and open for you.
The Riley Smith Theatre
The Riley Smith Theatre is the incredible 360 seat proscenium arch theatre we have at LUU. Hosting 5 student run musicals, tons of dance shows/competitions and the prestigious Riley Awards, this theatre is one to drop into. Not only this, but it also adapts into an event space, a vintage shopping market and even a prayer space.
Pyramid Theatre
Pyramid Theatre is one of 9 purpose built in-the-round theatres in the UK! It is attached to Pyramid Canteen, and boasts at least 2 musicals per year, 2 showcases and countless dance shows.
Studios
Scarlett, Skye, Mango and Jade are the four dance studios we have at LUU. With floor to ceiling mirrors and the perfect floor for dancing, these spaces are perfect for all of your rehearsal needs.
