From dedicated spaces for different communities to places to study, socialise and take a break, there’s somewhere for everyone.
Crossroads
Crossroads is your free gaming and community hub!
Come solo or with friends to play, relax and connect. Get stuck into PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, challenge your friends to a board game, or just find a comfy spot to hang out.
Whether you’re into gaming, comics or just looking for somewhere to socialise and feel at home, Crossroads is open to everyone.
You can also book the space for your Club or Society, making it the perfect place to bring your community together.

Theatres & Studios
The Riley Smith Theatre
Our 360-seat proscenium arch theatre hosts student-run musicals, dance shows, competitions and the Riley Awards. It also transforms into an event space, vintage market and prayer space.
Pyramid Theatre
One of just nine purpose-built in-the-round theatres in the UK, Pyramid hosts student musicals, showcases and dance shows throughout the year.
Studios
Scarlett, Skye, Mango and Jade are LUU’s four dedicated dance studios, with floor-to-ceiling mirrors and specialist flooring. Perfect for rehearsals, workshops and performances.
Essentials
Essentials is LUU’s basic needs hub, here to support students with everyday essentials when money is tight.
From food and clothing to sanitary products, they provide practical support to help ease the pressure of the cost of living.
Keep an eye out for free breakfast packs during exam periods, available to all students.

Need somewhere to meet, plan or collaborate? Our bookable meeting rooms on Floor 2 are available for students, Clubs and Societies to bring people together, work on ideas and get things done.
The PGR Lounge is a dedicated space for Postgraduate Researchers to study, socialise and take a break.
Whether you’re looking for somewhere to work or connect with other PGR students, it’s a space to make your own.
