Faculty Officers
What are Faculty Engagement Leaders?
Faculty Engagement Leaders gather information from all the School Reps in a Faculty to provide insights to senior decision-making bodies in the University so that your specific experience is considered for any University-wide policies.
They also work with other LUU Student Leaders to review and suggest policy that is beneficial for all students.
Faculty Engagement Leaders are elected during our annual LeadLUU Elections. These run during the first months of Semester 2. For any questions, please contact DemocracyAndCampaigns@luu.ac.uk
Support student-led change and coordination by supporting the relevant Faculty.
Develop skills including leadership, communication, self-confidence, diplomacy, feedback collection, public speaking, organisation and advocating for others – all key for life after Leeds!
Networking opportunities with Academics, Support Staff, Academic Societies, and other Reps across the University.
Undertake unique training/development opportunities.

Having a passion for improving student education.
Good communication and writing skills.
Ability to communicate with a diverse range of students and staff.
Well organised, and self-motivated.
