No.1 Student Union for Clubs and Societies in the UK!

As voted for in the StudentCrowd awards!

LUU has been ranked the 3rd best students’ union in the UK, as well as 1st for clubs and societies – something we’re very proud of.

This success follows our recent win at the  Whatuni Student Choice Awards, where we were crowned 4th best students’ union in the UK (continuing our run of ranking top 5!) – so it’s fair to say it’s been a great year for Leeds University Union.

Students Sports Varsity

Who represents YOU?

The Activities Executive is made up of 13 elected students, voted in each year to represent LUU’s 350+ Clubs and Societies and their members.

Supported by the Activities and Opportunities Officer, the Activities Exec makes sure students’ views and interests are heard by decision makers across the Union and University, helping shape a better experience for everyone involved in clubs and societies.

Anyone in a club or society can nominate themselves. It’s a chance to make a real difference, develop your skills and meet new people, with all the training you need provided.

Fancy getting involved? Take a look at this year’s team and keep an eye on our page for updates on the 2026 elections.
